Deferred Dynamo is a Standard Lightning Arcana in Wizard of Legend

Description[edit | edit source]

Release an electrical orb in the direction you are aiming. The orb deals 30 damage to the first enemy it strikes, knocking them back, before it fires a stream of lightning towards them which deals 10 hits of 2 damage and steadily pushes them backwards.

If the orb misses and hits a wall, it will create a small burst of electricity that deals 10 damage and shocks foes.

If enhanced, the lightning stream pushes enemies twice as far

Strategies[edit | edit source]

Deferred Dynamo is a great arcana to initiate a combo with as the orb will hitsun the enemy, opening them up for attack and the stream of lightning will deal continuous damage to them while you perform other arcana.

Due to the high knockback from both the orb and the stream, Deferred Dynamo can easily knock enemies into pits of hazards.

The stream lasts for a rather long duration. This allows you to single out a particularly troublesome enemy and keep them hitstunned for several seconds, preventing them from attacking. You can either follow up on the enemy to ensure that they are taken out or you can use this time to deal with enemies without the threat of the other attacking you.

Lining up enemies can cause the stream to hit multiple targets.
