|Scales of Babylon|
|Designed by Virtuoso Sean 'Ariamaki' Riedinger, this arcana allows you to lower active cooldowns and steal speed from enemies by blasting them with a burst of air!|
|Increases the cooldown reduction!|
Description[edit | edit source]
Damages, knocks back, and slows enemies in a moderate area around the player, and boosts the movement speed of the player for the same duration. If this arcana hits at least one enemy, all active cooldowns will be lowered by 3 seconds (5 seconds if enhanced), including that of itself.
Strategies[edit | edit source]
Scales of Babylon can give the user a huge breathing room, knocking back and slowing enemies in a large area, as well as increasing player run speed. Use this opportunity to reposition for your other arcana, which will be much closer to coming off cooldown.
Spell combos[edit | edit source]
Arcana such as Shock Assault which provide temporary immunity pair well with this arcana, allowing them to be used multiple times in quick succession.
Item combos[edit | edit source]
When used with Double Toil and Tozy's Pocket Watch, Enhanced Scales of Babylon's cooldown will be immediately refreshed on hitting any enemy and normal Scales of Babylon will have a huge reduction on its own cooldown, allowing any arcana to be spammed, as demonstrated in this video.
