Ward of Lightning is a Standard Lightning Arcana in Wizard of Legend

Description[edit | edit source]

The lightning element version of the ward spell. Enemies take about 20% more damage from lightning Arcana while within the ward's radius. This Arcana has and initial blast that deals more damage than the random lightning strikes and knocks enemies back further along with shocking enemies hit. This initial blast deals about 23 damage and the attacks afterwards deal 10, however it increases those damages becoming 27 and 12 respectively. The ward lingers for about 8 seconds.

When enhanced this Arcana will increase earth damage, and gain a wider area of effect.

Strategies[edit | edit source]

The ward of lighting can also be effective in two player, giving both players more overall damage if each have lightning Arcana.

Spell combos[edit | edit source]

This spell works well with any number of lightning Arcana.

Item combos[edit | edit source]

  • Battery of Taranis increases lightning damage further
  • Royal Flush if you use only lightning arcana, will greatly increase your damage due both to Royal Flush and from all your Arcana benefiting from the Ward.

Additional notes[edit | edit source]

  • The player character being within the radius alone will not increase damage dealt.
  • There is a ward for each other element(excluding chaos) which have nearly identical perks.
