Lightning Aspect is a Standard Lightning Arcana in Wizard of Legend
Description[ | ]
When activated, you release a small burst of lightning and surround yourself in a current of electricity for a duration of 4 seconds. Any enemies that you come into contact with will have shock applied to them. Any time a basic combo is completed, a bolt of lightning will strike down on the nearest foe in range.
If enhanced, bursts of electricity are continuously released every 0.5 seconds which also shock enemies.
Strategies[ | ]
You can use your dash arcana when Lightning Aspect is active to quickly and safely apply shock to many enemies at once by dashing through them.
Lightning Aspect is a good defence against melee enemies since they will be shocked if they try to get close to you.
Spell combos[ | ]
- Performing
Tearing Whirlwind while Lightning Aspect is active will cause all enemies pulled in by it to also be shocked. This allows for you to easily follow up on them with other arcana while they are immobilised. - Having several arcana that surround the player (e.g. Ignition Rush, Cardice Prime, Volt Pinball) active at once allows you to deal high damage and inflict multiple status effects to any enemy that comes close to you.
- Combining Evading Zephyr with Lighting Aspect will keep you safe from all enemy attacks while you run through them to inflict shock.
Item combos[ | ]
- Demi's Teapot increases the active duration to 7 seconds.
- Indra's Copper Pipe increases the damage and duration of the shock applied to enemies
- Increasing your movement speed with relics such as Equestricap or Mercury's Sandals allows you to cover a larger area while Lighting Aspect is Active, increasing the number of enemies you can hit.
Additional notes[ | ]
- The initial burst of lightning created by Lightning Aspect has a slightly larger range than that of the Arcana itself.
- Since Lighting Aspect inflicts damage solely through shock it does not receive a damage increase from any relics.
- Lighting Aspect deals no damage to lightning enemies, Juno and Suman or Master Sura since they are immune to shock. However it will still hitsun them even though no damage is dealt.
